Sandfirden Technics specialises in developing customised generator sets for marine, inland waterway, luxury yacht building and offshore platforms. The generator sets are available in any configuration and colour. Depending on the energy requirement, our sets are powered by Scania or AGCO Power engines with capacities ranging from 60 to 750 kVA.
Our Ocean- or Riverline diesel generator sets ensure a stable power supply on board ships and meet the required emission standards. These generator sets are energy-efficient, low-maintenance and fit various vessel sizes and types.
Scania IMO III and EU Stage V engines use SCR technology (adblue injection) and an oxidation catalyst. On Stage V engines, we add a particulate filter. This is done to reduce NOx and particulate matter content in the exhaust system in the most effective way possible.
Sandfirden is capable of replacing diesel engines in generator sets with engines that run on fuels of the future, such as LNG/CNG, methanol and bio- or synthetic fuels such as HVO and GTL. These engines ensure clean combustion with a low CO2 footprint and meet the highest environmental requirements. The engines are DNV-GL, BV or LR classified and come with a certified control and monitoring system.
