Sandfirden offers a wide selection of diesel engines from AGCO Power and Scania. The engines range in power output from 74 kW to 882 kW. Both brands meet the most stringent emission standards. The engines are suitable for applications from propulsion for luxury yachts, inland waterway vessels or fishing vessels to pushing heavy ships upstream.

Our Scania Stage V engines are the latest addition to our impressive product line. These engines are designed for low emissions with a compact design that complies with the latest environmental regulations.
Due to strict environmental requirements, engines must comply with minimum emissions of particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx). Thanks to the aftertreatment system, our Stage V engine ensures NOx emissions of less than 1 g/kWh. That is less than the requirement. An additional advantage is the compact design, which makes this engine easy to install in confined spaces. In addition, this engine offers maximum torque at low revs, up to 34% higher than a comparable DI13 marine engine.

Our Stage V engines are available in 13- and 16-liter versions. The 13-liter offers a power range of 253-398 kW. The 16-liter has a power range of 402-512 kW. Both engines are equipped with a common-rail fuel injection system that ensures accurate fuel delivery and low fuel consumption.
